Affective and social neuroscience
The Research Unit in Affective and social neuroscience is coordinated by Michela Balconi, who teaches Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience.
Including international researchers and practitioners, the Unit carries out basic and applied research as well as training activities in the field of Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuropsychology.
Research focuses on communication, language and emotional processes, using a wide range of methodologies (including EEG, neuromodulation techniques, bio/neurofeedback; NIRCx; eye-tracking).
