Psychology of Creativity and Innovation
The Research Unit
The Research Unit on Creativity aims at promoting cooperation among both researchers and teachers that study creativity from different perspectives. It is a scientific meeting point for different areas of expertise, whose members come from the Faculties of Psychology, Economics and Education.

Members
Andrea Gaggioli (Research Unit Coordinator)
Full Professor of General Psychology at the Psychology Faculty of Catholic University of Sacred Heart. His main research interest concerns human-computer interaction and the application of interactive systems in mental health. In the creativity field, he has developed a model of creativity in social networks ("Networked Flow"), which has been experimentally investigated in several applicative domains.
Alessandro Antonietti
Alessandro Antonietti is full professor of Cognitive Psychology and head of the Department of Psychology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milano (Italy). He carried out experimental studies about creativity, problem-solving, decision-making and investigated cognitive issues in the field of instruction and rehabilitation, by devising tests to assess thinking skills and programs to train cognitive abilities.
Marina Giampietro
Marina Giampietro is a school psychologist, and teaches Psychology of Personality. Her main research interests are linked to individual differences and to communication and relationship management in education.
Luca Milani
Luca Milani is Assistant Professor of Developmental Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology of Catholic University. He is member of the C.Ri.d.e.e. (research center on developmental and educational dynamics) and of the Research Unit on Trauma.
Laura Tappatà
Laura Tappatà teaches General Psychology at Education Faculty of Catholic University. Her main research interests are linked to Personality traits and emotions, humor, psycho-somatic diseases, psychological well-being. More recently she has been focusing on socio-emotive intelligence and its educational and psychological applications.
