In recent years, behavioural finance has gained increased attention from investors, advisors and banking and financial institutions. The literature on the topic includes many studies focused on decision-making process related to financial assets on how to explain the irrational behaviour in this field, while less attention has been specifically given to non-financial assets.

With the aim to improve the literature on behavioural finance, and especially on behavioural finance applied to non-financial assets, an international conference on the topic will be held at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Piacenza.

Academic researchers are invited to submit their papers (see the call for papers) and discuss them during the sessions.

This conference aims to promote studies, researches and surveys on behavioural finance. Thus,  papers dealing with these topics are all welcome.

The Scientific Committee intends to encourage papers focusing on wealthy investors, their needs regarding non-financial assets, as well as their decision-making process.

The target groups are:

• academic researchers in finance;
• economists;
• sociologists.

The idea is to create a debate arena for different ideas, to promote discussion and scientific research exchanges.

The language of the conference will be English.
