The fortieth anniversary of the scientific activity of the Department of Pedagogy of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore is inspired by three key words, which identify its generative tension. Pedagogy as a heuristic and design impulse, TOGETHER, united in the difference and transformations of the research sectors, values and methodological-cultural choices. Pedagogy as a set of VIEWS on the world of education and education, on the history of training processes and the potential of learning environments; as a critical interpretation of contemporary practices and experiences, emotions and lifestyles.
Pedagogy as a set of gazes turned to the FUTURE - theory, historical analysis, children's literature, didactics, technology, experimentation, motor sciences - comparison and possibility of dialogue with the different disciplinary areas and the various parts of society, crossed by a strategic tension towards the educating community, that global educational pact that is in the hands of people and organizations.
