The fortieth anniversary of the scientific activity of the Department of Education of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore is inspired by three keywords, which identify its generative tension. Education as a heuristic and design impulse, TOGETHER, united in the difference and transformations of the research sectors, values and methodological-cultural choices. To educate means adopting a set of PERSPECTIVES on the world of education, on the history of education, and on the potentials of learning environments, as a critical interpretation of practices, experiences, emotions and contemporary lifestyles.
Education as a set of gazes turned to the FUTURE - theory, historical analysis, children's literature, didactics, technology, experimentation, motor sciences - comparison and possibility of dialogue with the different disciplinary areas and the various parts of society, crossed by a strategic tension towards the educating community, that global educational pact that is in the hands of people and organizations.
