Research Centres

CREMIT

CREMIT – Research Centre for Media Education, Innovation and Technology of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – carries out research, training and experimentation on the relationship between media, education and digital culture. It promotes Media Literacy Education, educational innovation and digital citizenship practices, in dialogue with schools, universities, institutions and territories. There are 4 lines of research: Educational Innovation, Onlife Citizenship, Digital Pastoral Care, Educational Prevention. 

CARE

CARE - Center for Studies on Contexts, Affections and Educational Relationships, active in the Piacenza campus, is a place of pedagogical and interdisciplinary research aimed at building a "culture of care" (Pope Francis) in the contexts of educational, social and health work. Among its objectives: the development of affective and relational skills, the prevention and fight against educational poverty, the support of the rights of children and adolescents, the promotion of individual and social well-being and the care of the educating community.

CESPEFI

The CESPEFI (Center for Pedagogical Studies of Family and Childhood) with its research activity investigates the educational challenges affecting family relationships and aims to promote a pedagogical culture for and with childhood.

It pursues its objectives, making use of the contribution of pedagogical scholars and initiating interdisciplinary discussions.  The Centre is active in various fields:

- research activities;

- organization of conferences;

- scientific publications;

- implementation of training courses.

CeDisMa

CeDisMa is the Centre for Studies and Research on Disability and Marginality of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. For over twenty years, the Centre has been dedicated to research, training and promoting a culture of inclusion through innovative projects and excellent training courses. The commitment is to build bridges between academic research and professional practice for real social change, in fact, the projects that CeDisMa develops are aimed at  innovation, combining  scientific research and practical intervention to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of people with disabilities or in situations of marginality.

CeRiForm

The Centre for Studies and Research on Education Policies (CeRiForm) develops research on education policies, monitoring and evaluation of education and training systems, research development actions in the field of education, in the public and private sectors.

Work in the direction of the development and qualification of professionals, managers and decision-makers, with special attention to policy making and its methodological supports: research, planning, governance, strategic management, evaluation.
