The Department of Modern and Contemporary History promotes:

  • coordination among professors to foster effective teaching in individual areas of interest;
  • introduction of structures aimed at encouraging the knowledge of historical culture and diacronical perspective in human and social sciences among students;
  • development of scientific research in the field of modern and contemporary history;
  • organization of meetings, seminars and lectures aimed at establishing fruitful discussions among scholars.
