Abstract
Optical microscopy is one of the oldest instruments that preserves its high interdisciplinary importance. To date, a number of methods have been developed to restore the sub-diffraction structure of the material: electron, atomic force, near-field scanning, X-ray microscopy. However, these methods are not without drawbacks that complicate their wide use for nanodiagnostics of the structure and dynamics of samples, especially when it comes to the efficiency of the study, the simplicity of the measurement procedure, the need to diagnose the structure and dynamics of the object, its surface and volume. The development of methods of laser fluorescence microscopy allowed researchers to overcome the classical diffraction limit in optical microscopy. At the talk we discuss results of exploring BaTiO3 microsphere from foldscope (new paper microscope) in comparison with a standard optical microscope. In addition, we show results of resolution effect on Si surfaces with using BaTiO3 microspheres on Raman spectroscopy.
