The "Bollettino dell'Archivio per la storia del movimento sociale cattolico in Italia" began its publications in 1966. The periodical is the only Italian journal of history that has focused on the reconstruction of the experiences made by Catholics in the field of economic and social life from unity to the final decades of the twentieth century. The periodical is the voice of the Archive for the history of the Catholic social movement in Italy and therefore of the research activity that the Archive is carrying out to identify and recover from the most current historiographic work a rich documentation, but dispersed and poorly known. The magazine also wants to offer itself as the instrument of this work, pointing out archival fonds, materials and periodical and non periodical press, unpublished sources. The "Bollettino", founded by Mario Romani, has opened its pages not only to archivists and young scholars, but also to well-known specialists in political and social history of the Italian Catholic movement.
