Atelier della Prevenzione - Technologies for disease prevention: demand meets demand
On Friday, June 13th, we enthusiastically participated in the Prevention Atelier, organized by the DARE Foundation - Digital Lifelong Prevention. An important opportunity for discussion between institutions, public health, research and innovation, with the aim of building a network of shared knowledge for digital and personalized prevention throughout life.
For the Hygiene Section, Prof. Stefania Boccia, Prof. Roberta Pastorino, together with our PhD students and doctors in specialist training, actively involved in the DARE project.
Representing the Section, the student specializing in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine Luigi Russo presented the four pilots designed during the project, which provide for different applications of Polygenic Risk Scores for the personalized primary prevention of cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
We are proud to contribute, with our scientific and educational commitment, to the development of integrated and digital prevention models at the service of regional and national health systems.
