Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore is an historic hub in the community of Italian research in the field of organizational applied psychology, traditionally oriented to a trans-disciplinary approach. It represents a site of critical elaboration about issues as experiential knowing and learning in social, organizational and institutional contexts. Of particular importance are the UCSC’s undergraduate training offer, with its 14 Faculties (including Psychology, Economics, Science Education, Social and Political Sciences) and the postgraduate training offer.

Located in the city center of Milan, the UCSC campus is within walking distance of many of Milan’s historical, cultural, and religious sites: the Duomo, Santa Maria delle Grazie (Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper), CastelloSforzesco, and many more. All around the campus are also some relevant museums, a nice park (Parco Sempione) and many cafes. Originally a monastery built by Benedictine monks in the 8th century, the Milan campus has expanded under the care of Cistercian friars in the 15th century and military and social developments both during the Napoleonic era and World War II. Well known throughout Milan, the campus now contains the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio. The campus is nestled within the original city walls of Milan. Portions of the wall remain today and are an integral part of the Basilica atmosphere. The Milan campus consists in one headquarter (Largo Gemelli, 1) and some smaller branches, all located at walking distance from the first.
