Public Health policies as an essential tool for human health
On 5 and 6 April, the congress of SItI – Italian Society of Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public Health was held in Taormina, organized by Professor Raffaele Squeri and entitled "Public Health policies as an essential tool for human health".
During the event, Professor Stefania Boccia was the discussant of the session "COVID-19: are we really returning to normal?".
Lessons learned from the pandemic, communication and vaccination strategies, the evolution of COVID-19 vaccination, the impact of SARS-CoV-2 variants, indications on booster doses and management control in the COVID-19 period are some of the topics addressed during the day.
We thank Professor Squeri and all the participants for making possible such a valuable and informative event for the progress of our public health. This is an example of this.
