Visiting Professor

Artur Gałkowski

Artur Gałkowski is Associate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Łódź, specializing in Italian and French. His research focuses mainly on Italian linguistics and onomastics, particularly in the field of crematonyms. He also deals with lexicology, translation and language teaching.  

In the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025, Professor Gałkowski will collaborate in the following courses: Didactics of Italian L2, Brescia campus (Prof. Silvia Gilardoni); Laboratory for Teaching Italian as a Second Language, Milan campus (Dr. Maria Vittoria Lo Presti); General Linguistics, Brescia campus (Prof. Cigada).

Marian Lopata, Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the Ukrainian Catholic University of Lviv, was in Milan with an Erasmus Plus project between UC and the Catholic University of Lviv from 21 to 25 October, collaborated with prof. Anna Bonola and gave two lectures:

within the course in International Relations on the theme "Foreign relations of Ukraine with Western neighbours (Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania)"

within the course in Political Science on the theme "Democracy and hybrid regimes (with a focus on Ukraine)".
