In the first issue of the Department of Linguistic Sciences Newsletter you will find the various departmental initiatives planned for the second semester 2024-25.

The next cycle of meetings, Exploring new technologies (chat gpt) for foreign languages, linguistics and literature, an introduction to the possible applications of AI for language teaching, translation and research, will be highlighted. 

The appointments of Theatre and Literature, Dia negro, Meetings with the author, Dictionary Days will also resume, as well as the Poetic Analysis Workshop and the second part of the Permanent Seminar on Literature. The activities aimed at secondary schools are particularly lively in this semester, with the numerous PCTOs planned. Finally, the Eurocall 2025 conference will be held in the last days of August.

In addition to all this, there are conferences, book presentations, and the activities of the Research Centers linked to the Department.
